The Goon Sax are set to release their debut LP on Chapter Music in 2016. So while there is no physical release as of yet, there will be.
Apparently, The Goon Sax is a group of teenaged high school friends from Brisbane, Australia. I would say this has a bit of K Records circa 1992 (think Beat Happening with a little more conventional pop sound). But if you listen to “Sometimes Accidentally” you will be surprised to not hear Robert Scott of The Bats singing. Clearly, this band also owes a debt to The Go-Betweens.
By the way a “goon sack” is the liner inside boxed wine.
